Artist Managers Welfare Association of India to Celebrate 100 Plus Membership With a Big Bash!
With an aim to unite all artist managers across India and provide them with a platform to develop, network, associate and promote their respective businesses and interests, the Artist Managers Welfare Association of India (AMAI) has been put together and will soon be celebrating its big milestone. The body has crossed 100 memberships and has been succeeding in achieving the goals it set out for itself.
A grand event has been organized on the 19th of October to celebrate this enormous achievement as well as celebration of a successful year. The association is a registered agency with the Registrar of Societies, and already has a large number of Artists’ Managers as its members.
The event is sure to see some top names in the industry. Legendary Singer and Music Composer, Sir Lesle Lewis, lyricist Kumaar, singer-music directors Shaarib and Toshi, singer Abhijeet Sawant, actor Vipul Roy, comedian Chandan Prabhakar, actor Danish Bhat, actor Manish Goel, singer Vaishali Samant, comedian Kettan Singh will grace the event with their presence.
The Guests of Honour for the event include Sabbas Joseph, Founder & Director Wizcraft, Parthip Thyagarajan, CEO Wedding Surta, Hemant Kale, Director Swaaha Experience Mgmt Company, Priyanka Khimani, Founder Khimani and Associate and Nirmika Singh, Executive Editor Rolling Stones India.
The aim of the body has always been to protect the interests of the Managers’ of Artists’, which in fact, indirectly, leads to safeguarding (to a good extent) the interest of Artists themselves, thus benefiting the industry as a whole. Besides this, their core objective is to put a stop to unfair trade practices, and in the process, impose upon its member’s certain disciplinary measures, as well as resolve issues between members. Another key goal of AMAI is to assist young talents/entrepreneurs to develop their skills and capacity and promote harmonious inter-relationships. AMAI shall also organise seminars and such other sessions from time to time.
